FCC Environmental, whose primary services are managing and recycling industrial waste such as hydrocarbon waste, has recently been sold for circa €70m. this is the latest stage as the group continues to divest a proportion of its assets in a drive to secure a target of 2.2bn euros. This major Spanish group suggests the synergies will will generate more than 15 m euros as the companies merge.
The Heritage-Crystal Clean president and chief executive Joseph Chalhoub said: “This is our largest acquisition to date and it enables us to enhance our overall efficiency and greatly expand our environmental services activities.”
FCC ENVIRONMENTAL , based in the USA , has approximately 600 employees and turned over about 130m euros in 2013. FCC Group has so far divested FCC Logistica , and FCC Energia , and is looking to soon divest assets such as Realia and Globalvia
